Tomacor, Inc.
operates the Illinois Inspector Training Institute (IITI).
Through the IITI, aspiring home inspectors may take
a 3-month or 2-week intensive training course that meets
Illinois state requirements for taking the licensing
exam, as well as continuing education courses that fulfill
the state requirement.
IITI instructors include some of the leading inspectors
and business professionals in the Chicago area.
Our Philosophy
Home Inspection is a profession. Our course is designed
to make you a professional. It will teach you the technical
skills and, more importantly, the critical thinking
skills to make judgment calls on inspections. You should
be prepared to exercise your thinking skills.
Our
Guarantee
In order to make sure that you are able to move forward
in your career, we guarantee that our students will
get all the help they need in order to pass the home
inspector exam. The majority of our students pass the
exam the first time around. But if they do not, they
may come back to the school either for more classes,
or for individual tutoring sessions - free of charge
- and get the help they need to ensure that they pass
the exam. There is no limit on the number of sessions
or classes that they are allowed to attend. We want
to make sure that you feel comfortable and ready for
the state exam.
