Tomacor helps Client with Storm Damage & Builder’s Warranty
We purchased a brand new townhome in Chicago in April 2010. During a major thunderstorm of June 2010 we had water leaking from our ceiling and water damage in our living room and daughter’s bedroom. Although we had a full home inspection prior to the purchase, obviously they didn’t catch everything. We heard great review, although very pricy, of Tomacor from a friend and called them to do a full home inspection to see if there was anything else faulty with our home. Tomacor came in on time and spent about 3 hours inspecting our home. They are VERY good. They look into everything. They took picutres of all the issues of the home and provided a full report.
We used this report to present to the home builders to fix all the issues that Tomacor found, since we still have a one year warranty remaining. They have agreed to fix all the issues and dates of the fixes have already been set by the builders. I highly recommend them, especially prior to purchasing a new home. Don’t make the mistake that we did by using any home inspector you can find.
