As mentioned to him our experience was good…the sellers were initially upset at the findings but were willing to come forth to pay for repairs. With how negotiations had gone previously with this seller, it was surprising that they came forward on their own to pay for these repairs after declining to pay anything initially.
It was a green light for us to move forward since we got repair costs as opposed to the sellers taking care of these repairs on their own. Tom’s report was very handy and the details very useful for both parties – from a seller’s point of view in justifying a buyer’s request and from a buyer’s point of view in aiding our understanding of what we are getting into as we move forward with buying this property.
